Olivia Amplified

Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to finally hit publish on my very first blog post and officially welcome you to this space.
What should you expect from Olivia Amplified?
This blog is a place where I’ll be sharing my thoughts, experiences, and resources. I hope to cover a wide range of topics that reflect my passions and the issues I deeply care about. I've decided to section my posts between my professional mission, my personal mission, and a critical reads section. I'm really excited about the literature review section as I have always been a bit of a book-worm. I'm an avid Goodreads user, and I'm hoping I can share my most suggested books regarding activism, civil rights, intersectionality, and other crucial topics worth reading. My other posts, while just as meaningful, will delve into my personal and professional missions. My personal mission or my Sankalpa (for my yoga community) is to create communities in which everyone feels valued, connected, and empowered. I believe my professional mission follows a similar intent as I explore the legal field in advocating for civil and human rights. My hope is that this blog will not only be a space for me to share my journey but also be a resource and source of inspiration for others who care about making a positive impact in the world.
Why I’m Starting This Blog
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to meet some incredible people, engage in advocacy work, and dive into issues I’m passionate about. As I get ready for law school in 2026, I want to create a platform where I can continue learning, sharing, and growing while helping others do the same. It’s also an important space for me to reflect on my experiences and stay connected to the things that matter most to me. My recent decision to take a gap year between undergraduate and law school gives me this perfect opportunity to have a creative space to reflect.
I’m really excited to bring my tangible journal alive through this blog. I can’t wait to see where it takes us. I hope you’ll find something meaningful in these posts. I’m always open to suggestions, questions, or just a chat, so feel free to reach out or leave a comment.
Thank you for being here, and let’s get started!
With gratitude,
Olivia
